Like Michigan just two months ago, Wisconsin is following suit and banning smoking throughout the state. On July 5, 2010, the smoke-free Wisconsin act banning smoking in all public areas including bars, restaurants, and work places took effect. Wisconsin residents will still be able to smoke on outdoor patios or decks attached to bars and restaurants. Wisconsin is the 39th state to go smoke-free.
One of our very own BoothBoss staff member has been directly effected by this ban, and has jumped on the band wagon to quit smoking. We wish them the very best!
